New Integrated circuitsAn 8-bit line buffer/driver with a three-state output. Due to its two separate sections in one package, the 74HC244D IC can be used as two 4-bit buffers or one 8-bit buffer. All inputs also have a protection diode, which allows a current-limiting resistor to be added in case of a voltage exceeding the Vcc supply value.
